The best night of the year for me and for most of our crew is not the nest night of the year for Jacky. Actually, it’s probably one of the worst. Endless crowds, loud music booming (albeit beautiful) fireworks. This poor baby puts up with it all. He finds a way to make it work. You might think that I am the world’s worst parent for making him endure all of this, but I promise you that every year it gets a little bit easier. He becomes a little bit more comfortable with the chaos. And isn't that what life really is? Beautiful chaos. For all you parents with sensory sensitive kids. Don’t give up on doing fun family outings and activities.The more your kids are exposed the better they will adapt to all sorts of situations.
